Incident Details

Melrose-based sedan driver was going south on Summer St and stopped at the red light at the Summer St @ Pleasant St intersection, near the Malden Center train stop. The motorist proceeded to take a right turn onto Pleasant St while their traffic light was still red. Shortly after the turn, they stated that a pedestrian ran across the street (not in the crosswalk). The pedestrian was unable to get up on her own and was transported to MGH for further treatment.
