Incident Details

Near the Route 1 on and off ramps and a few hundred feet away from the bike path portion that goes under the highway, a 45-year-old sedan driver was attempting to turn right onto Lynn St from Salem St after stopping at the stop sign when he accidentally struck a 42-year-old bicyclist, resulting in the bicyclist falling down. The driver says he didn't see the bicyclist since it was dark out and he was wearing dark clothing. The bicyclist was feeling pain on his right wrist and left hip and was transported to CHA Everett for further evaluation.
