Incident Details

A Medford resident was driving their sedan down the hill of Elwell St going straight through the intersection at Broadway when she struck a pedestrian crossing the street from the 9 Central Ave side (near CVS). The report says the pedestrian wasn't in the crosswalk, but the image shows they were a few feet away from it. The pedestrian was brought to Melrose Wakefield for injuries to her hands and shoulder. The pedestrian lives in Revere behind the Overlook Ridge apartments, a 1.5 mile walk away from the incident (or ½ a mile if she could walk in a straight line).
