Incident Details

A pedestrian came to Malden Police Station to report that he was hit by a car on 4/12/2025 at 10pm. He stated he was crossing the crosswalk on Commercial St toward Tous Les Jours with the walk signal on when the car in the southbound lane hit him. He sustained no injuries at the time of the accident. The driver stopped and exchanged information with him. He stated at the time he was fine, but today he had to miss work and is going to the hospital for neck pain. The pedestrian lives 1.2 miles away from the incident. The driver lives almost a mile away and is a member of the city’s board of assessors.
