Incident Details

A Malden man in his sedan was driving east on Eastern Ave when it began to turn left into AutoZone. A box truck driving west stopped in traffic to allow the car to complete his turn. However, a bicyclist was also travelling west near the sidewalk of Eastern Ave when he passed the stopped truck and ultimately collided with the front right side of the sedan trying to turn into AutoZone. The bicyclist was brought to MGH. The driver lives 1.7 miles away from AutoZone, the bicyclist 1.2 miles.
