Pedestrian hit at crosswalk by car taking left

THU 5:55PM At the CVS/Cheverus intersection, a motorist was driving north on Ferry St to turn left on Route 60 W. A pedestrian was crossing southward at the crosswalk on the the westbound side of Route 60 when she was struck. She was brought to MWH. At the time of the crash, there was a significant glare from the sun which was in the western part of the sky. (I could be wrong, but I think she may have had the walk signal and the car also had the green light.)
